How to care for your luxury bed linen?

Pre-wash all your linen before use. Wash your household linen separately, and in particular, do not mix it with polyester-based items. Polyester forms lint that clings to natural fibers, which alters the softness and suppleness of your linen. Also be careful with clothing featuring buttons and zippers, as they risk damaging more delicate linen during washing.

We advise against using fabric softener for your household linen. Using a softener means adding more chemicals to your linen. This can prevent the fabric from being as absorbent as it originally was, which you may want for your linen during the summer months.

All MPC luxury household linen can be tumble dried. We recommend a low temperature. We know that all natural fiber textiles have an average shrinkage rate that varies from 3 to 5% over the first few cycles (this is why we slightly oversize our household linen), so hot temperatures may increase this shrinkage. Do not overload the dryer; friction inside the machine risks damaging your linen and reducing its lifespan. Always ensure you respect the drying capacity of your machine—that is, the amount of linen (in kg) your machine can dry. Do not add towels to your dryer; this is the worst thing to do, as their textured surface will cause more friction and wear to your sheets. Air drying is always preferable if you can.

How to care for your bath linen?

Pre-wash your bath linen before use. Wash it separately. The golden rule to follow to keep your bath linen beautiful is to place only terry cloth items in your machine. We advise against using fabric softener for your bath linen. Using a softener can alter the absorbency of your terry cloth. To ensure your bath linen retains all its fluffiness, we recommend tumble drying it at a low temperature. Do not overload the dryer; friction inside the machine risks damaging your bath linen and reducing its lifespan. We also recommend using dryer balls to help dry your linen. Being pulsed upward by the air, they will separate the linen, allowing heat to circulate and massaging the fibers to soften them.

How to care for your mattress topper, duvet, and pillows?

To make the most of the exceptional comfort of your luxury mattress topper, we recommend flipping it once a week by reversing the head and foot. To ensure its protection and longevity, we have created a special protective cover. The MPC mattress topper cover has been designed to provide optimal protection for your mattress topper; it is white and made of 100% microfiber. With a thickness of 9 cm, it features a continuous zipper on three sides to make inserting the mattress topper easier.

The mattress topper should not be cleaned, except in very exceptional cases involving a major stain (note: if your hotel mattress topper is equipped with its protective cover, this will not happen). In such a case, it is advisable to entrust your product to a professional for dry cleaning with all the necessary precautions appropriate for this product.

Select the delicate cycle at 40°C or its machine equivalent. Add the recommended dose of detergent for this purpose. At the end of the cycle, select the maximum spin cycle. Drying should be carried out for an approximate two-hour cycle until the product is free of any trace of moisture. Halfway through the drying cycle, take the duvet out and shake it vigorously. For duvets up to and including 160x200cm, you can wash them in standard household machines. For larger sizes, it is essential to have a machine that can handle loads of up to 10kg. Otherwise, we recommend going to a dry cleaner or specialized laundromat that has high-capacity machines.

Whether synthetic or natural, pillows can be machine washed at a temperature of 40°C, using the ECO white cycle or equivalent. Use an equivalent dose of your usual detergent and, at the end of the wash cycle, select a maximum spin speed according to your machine's brand. Drying should be performed in the tumble dryer on a two-hour cycle until the product is free of any trace of moisture, or by laying it flat in the open air and patting it regularly.
